You have to press jump just before the jump animation finishes. Kind of like the Nataruk's "perfect shot". And it doesn't work if you spam jump during the animation.

I was stopped by a wall near the end of my jump but you can go really far if you combine it with aim-gliding.

Reminder that you can double jump with the Atomicycle
