Know Your Rights event

This "Know Your Rights" training session will inform you about your constitutional and legal rights and offer approaches for encounters with immigration officials such as ICE.

This free event will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, in Madison Hall, Morrisville.

Due to the extreme cold expected this weekend, and out of an abundance of caution, we are postponing the rally scheduled for this Saturday.

Hardy souls are still welcome to join us for a brief “honk & wave.” Same time. Same place. We’ll be Freezing for a Reason!

County residents protested against the Trump administration and engaged in "Good Trouble" on Thursday night, paying tribute to the late John Lewis, a stalwart of civil rights. The 100 protesters collected $200 in contributions and over a dozen boxes of food that will all be donated to food pantries.

Please join us for a family picnic at Chittenango Fall State Park starting at 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 14. We'll provide free ice cream and encourage you to bring whatever you'd like to eat and drink.

Update: Fundraiser Postponed

Trump asked Rep. Elise Stefanik, who represents NY-21, to stay in Congress rather than serve as ambassador to the United Nations.

So, the April 13 fundraiser to support Blake has been postponed until late summer or fall of 2025.

A fundraiser will be held April 13 to help elect Blake Gendebien to Congress. Blake is a farmer from Lisbon, N.Y., who is running for the seat vacated by Elise Stefanik in in NY-21. See the attachment or register here: buff.ly/m5VjxJW
