Well done P4 for a super sharing learning afternoon about the Titanic. Everyone looked amazing in their costumes.

On World Book Day we worked on designing book covers to decorate our classroom door

As part of World Book Day we joined up with the Primary 4 class to do some paired reading 📚 @antomissstevenson.bsky.social

For our Titanic topic, we were learning about the journey the ship took. We used an atlas to help us plot the journey on a map.

In French we have been learning how to say and write parts of the body. We created our own monsters and wrote sentences to describe them.

We were learning about buoyancy and how a boat floats on water. We had the challenge to make our own boats and test them out.

In French, we were learning to say our favourite fruits.

Here are our finished Titanic cabins. We tried to include all the features of 1st, 2nd and 3rd class cabins.

We had so much fun at the school food showdown. We learned about eating healthy and new cooking skills.

We started this morning singing lots of songs with Fischy music. Ask us what our favourite was.

Wellbeing Scotland visited our class yesterday to talk about different emotions and strategies we can use when we feel upset

We loved learning new karate skills this morning.

Today we were learning about being kind to others and created kindness hearts.

We started health week learning about belonging and including others. We created our own ‘my place’ islands with things we feel we belong too.

We had a busy afternoon creating models of a passenger cabin from the titanic. I can’t wait to see the finished products.

For STEM leading the learning we were learning about bridges. Our challenge was to design a bridge that could hold a 1kg weight

We have loved learning about the Titanic. Last week, we sketched a picture of the ship and used paint for the background.

We started our new topic, The Titanic, this week. We worked together in groups to research facts about the ship to create a poster.

Future Me day! We loved visiting the careers fayre and learning about the different jobs we can have when we grow up.

We had a house challenge in our class today to see if we could name a job for each letter of the alphabet. #antohwb

We have been working on our handwriting this week. We have been learning to join our letters.

We enjoyed decorating biscuits on the last day before the holiday.
