Haven't done a star trail for a while, but it was crystal clear last night so I went to Embleton Quarry Nature Reserve. It's a great site with lovely dark skies. ✨

While climate collapse or war seem to be the greatest problems of our time, the loss of darkness is a subtle yet consequential issue. By losing our access to the starry skies, we are losing a piece of Us that has been with us since forever.
