This puts me at 10 people released. I filed my 1st habeas petition 29 days ago. I am an incredibly small-time, nobody lawyer who knew nothing about immigration law the day I submitted that case. I barely know any more today. I had never sued the federal government and now I've beaten them 10 times.

The people of the USA carry on as normal because they know that the only other country as depraved and bloodthirsty as the US is our "strategic partner," Israel.
The people of the USA know that no other nations will stoop as low as ours, and bomb our hospitals, elementary schools and sacred places.
Relevant: BIPOC often remark on how white USian children are allowed to talk back to or even straight up curse out their parents, whereas we would not DARE. But 9 times out of 10, at the end of the day those white children toe the line, too. The parents get their way once the tantrum is over.
The USA's best trick is combining the appearance of freedom with a reality of repression. It is a brilliantly crafted permissive tyranny: one in which some protest & vocal dissent are tolerated & even promoted, mostly bc they've become impotent release valves that dissipate energy & change little.
We are not free here, but we can say we are without immediate reprisal. Most of us anyway. At the right time, right place, right identity, & enough money. We can say “whose streets? our streets!” as long as it’s along the predetermined route and within the hours agreed upon, of course.
This is something to truly consider bcuz our entire concept of "success" was molded to conform to capitalist idolatry. When we overcome that indoctrination "success" looks nothing like what is thrown in our faces.
