To be honest, I was a bit underwhelmed when I had it in Cusco. (And I even went to the *very* authentic place our Inca trail guide recommended.)

Cuy al horno didnβt make your quad box?
This is a horrible incident, but the screencap illustrating the story is chefβs kiss. gothamist.com/news/nyc-nix...
The New York Times describing Lindsey Halligan, who was never US Attorney for EDVA because the administrationβs attempts to appoint her were illegal, as βthe former U.S. attorney in the Eastern District of Virginia.β

They liked it, but it wasnβt until βwhere winter days are dark-ticaβ of βAntarctic Anthemβ that they rose as one from their seats and cheered.
Iβm on a bus, so had no choice but to pull it up immediately:

To me, the debate over quality is borderline academic. The primary use case for AI in law will be, and almost certainly already is, to enable small/solo civil shops to increase their caseloads, possibly substantially. The ramifications of that are significant regardless of quality.
How have I not seen this before?? Is the original article still up?
I read his book about his first year in the booth (It's Gone...No, Wait A Minute) multiple times as a teen. Donβt know if it holds up now, but I suspect it might.
This challenge is designed almost exactly for me, or at least me 10 years ago (very big guy with history of binge eating and drinking, yet also a solid weekend warrior long distance runner), and I think all yβall are overconfident about drinking 2 1/4 gallons of beer.

@megrowler.fangraphs.com I regret to inform you that my mom had her thyroid removed for *cancer*, and they let her take it home in a little vial of formaldehyde or what have you. (Perhaps you can take some comfort that this was c. 1985.)
I still redeem my cash back as statement credit instead of checking deposit because it was unclear for a while whether they were supposed to issue 1099s.
@elliottkalan.bsky.social @hodgman.bsky.social www.newyorker.com/magazine/201... And to think John made fun of Elliott for explaining that Roman statues were "painted brightly colors." (As an I, Podius superfan, I tease out of love.)
Conversely, an artist that complains about the audience bringing βbaggageβ to their art almost certainly is *not* a great artist. (To be clear, Gilligan isnβt doing this to my knowledge, just the reply guy.)
My ophthalmologist can use an imager instead, for $30. (No charge for dilation, at least with my insurance.)
On a very slightly related note, I wish my dad was alive to see what has become of his preferred brand of extremely uncool dad shoe.
The Mβs need to re-sign Naylor, and then next year, he can be Big Grumper, and Cal the Sultan of Squat, because the other nickname is very much suffering from national exposure/overuse.
Thatβs fair, though the Rockies still draw remarkably well relative to the teamβs success. Which may be part of the problem, honestly!
NeuroTribes is amazing, and Steve was an incredible ally himself, but if people want to be allies, they should start with Weβre Not Broken, by @ericmgarcia.bsky.social. Weβre Not Broken is conveniently also a βlighterβ read (complimentary). They should then read NeuroTribes, too!
There are so many reasons to be critical of the Rockies, but a plurality of Yankees fans at games when the Yankees visit is really not one of them. Itβs true at most non-AL east parks. There are a lot of Yankees fans everywhere and they show up for the one time of year theyβre in town.
It is the Daniel Craigβs southern accent of the show. The worst and the best. Why I will watch anything Rian Johnson makes.
Theyβre still defending it. Ludicrous. Iβm fine with a homer-ish booth, but this kind of thing is obnoxious. (Aaron and Hyphen are usually better than this.)
I donβt have access to enough of the article to see exactly how the Coop was using the crosswalk, and Iβm sure it was ingenious, but I gotta say, this guyβs working harder than he needs to. Coops around here just use backyard bird feeders as buffets and live high in the hog, no need to be clever.
When I started grad school (20 years ago, ack), the financial aid office had a mandatory presentation, a nontrivial portion of which was dedicated to warning us not to shop at Morton Williams.

The depressing thing about tennis is that no matter how hard I try, I'll never be as good as a wall.
Mariners pitcher Emerson Hancock mid-pitch, with shoulder and elbow both seemingly at impossible angles.
Presumably, shortly after this photo was taken, the ball was propelled at approximately 90mph, which should be impossible both as a matter of anatomy and of physics.
This is a good joke because it works both for locals and the core BlueSky demographic of elder millennials born of yuppie NPR listeners.
Find yourself someone who loves you as much as Dan Wilson loves the platoon βadvantage.β
