I ordered an additional air purifier. My good one isn't rated to handle the whole apartment and this way I can load them with different specialty filters. Likely will do the odor one near the kitchen and allergen ones in the bedroom, though ordered a set of the wildfire filters too.

It was 30 when I left for work this am, 78 when I came home and it's hanging in the 50s. I just wish the weather would pick something and stop oscillating so wildly.
This was a good reminder to check notifications. I use the Red Cross app Emergency! and just checked them. Did need to switch immediate evacuation alerts so that they would break through my do not disturb.
One of the other big ones took out more of Halsey National Forest, triggered two evacuations, jumped a river and is very much uncontained. While I'm sorry for the impacted people, prob good for the ecology, longer-term. These habitats were made to burn.
Evavuation order for one of the small towns went out. Looks like a couple other good sized fires too. Fun fun.

Big fire a bit west of town, and our winds are 30mph, gusting a lot higher. Had a bit of moisture yesterday, but everything is still realllly dry. I'm fine - it's a town or two west - but could definitely smell it when I walked out of work.

The women, gender, and sexuality student conference was today. I moderated a session and attended a few more. Also did exhibit tours for some attendees. I was able to connect several with related resources that fit their research interests, which I always enjoy.
