We all just need a little G-virus.

We all just need a little G-virus.
yo I heard you hate ICE, so we put ICE on some ice so you can point and laugh while you ride/drive/walk past.
It's so irritating when left-ish types want to act like elitists and shit all over folks who, at the end of the day, are probably just desperately trying to stay out of a doctor office they can't afford or trying vainly to strike back at a system that is set up to destroy people who aren't rich.
But it's pretty easy to see how the shitty US healthcare situation is set up to feed the pure quackery, snake-oil, questionable/unproved treatment and even anti-vax community. You almost can't blame them for not wanting to trust a healthcare system that has failed so many people so badly.
And the drops worked great when used as eye drops. I found them to be just as effective as or better than prescription antibiotic eye drops. They were even the same brand as in the photo.
As long as healthcare isn't universal here, I would HATE to be without that sort of option, quite frankly.
That'd be great. I'd love that. But silvadene is unfortunately prescription only, at least in this country, so there's no way to just buy it to have it on hand.
I do have colloidal silver drops I've used for eye infections when I've been without insurance.
Sometimes, you make do.
Mamdani has only been Mayor for a day & criminals are already fleeing New York
Sorry, I meant to type "that guy with the right opinion about this because I understand nuance"
*in another ironic twist, the medical treatment for methemoglobinemia is the SAME blue stuff popular with right-wingers like RFK to put in drinking water - methylene blue - except DOCTORS administer it intravenously, not by mouth.
BTW good luck telling just by looking whether someone is blue from argyria (silver), or because they have methemoglobinemia (genetic or acquired).* I guess I can't stop you from making nasty assumptions about people, though.
Counter-counterpoint: Is a thing automatically meritless just because some idiots misuse it/use it out of the correct context it should be used in? Those pictures were LITERALLY a case of "one of these things is not like the others".
Not to be That Guy(TM) but colloidal silver actually is effective as an antibiotic agent. It's not a cure-all for every type of infection, but it'll get pretty much any bacteria, even stuff that traditional antibiotics can't (see link).

And these fucking assholes donβt even follow their own god damn rules. Itβs just designed for those in privilege to maintain their seat of power.
ugh. I was hoping I'd be able to update my graphics card next year. Oh well, I'll just wait til after the bubble pops I guess.
The GOPβs midterm strategy is literally just Comet Pizza
It is a central part of so-called Gender Critical ideology [far right transphobia] to deny that LGBTQ people were victims of the Holocaust. So accounts of the tens of thousands of Queer ppl who were incarcerated, persecuted or murdered are vital.
Holocaust denial is vile & a far right signifier.
This is awesome, I remember putting this on a mixtape I made of songs recorded from the radio back in the day. I can't believe I've never seen the video.

I am especially mad at the people who sold trans people out
Fuck you guys, really
They'd be havoc in the west, though, because I bet they could plow through barbed wire fences like nobody's business and not even care.
They'd probably spread across the southern US from Florida to Texas and on into Mexico, maybe even diversifying. If just a few of them had the hairiness gene like mammoths, they could even start spreading northward. We could have had Americanized woolly elephants grazing alongside bison.
I kinda like thinking about this possibility. Like if enough of them survived the war and nobody knew what to do with them afterward, they'd probably just let them loose, right? Loose in the US South. and Asian elephants actually do have some cold tolerance, so they might do pretty well.
A USPS mailbox in New York City
USPS quietly changed its postmark rules β mail is no longer dated when you drop it off. The βofficialβ date is when it hits automated sorting β sometimes days later
Which could have major implications for mail in voting β itβs a clever way to disenfranchise voters thatβs going largely overlooked
New York Times: The measure faces opposition from Silicon Valley investors and others, including Gov. Gavin Newsom. At The New York Times DealBook conference this month, Mr. Newsom said a wealth tax was not pragmatic. The Democrat, who has been close with people like Mr. Page, is raising money for a committee to oppose the measure. The committee received a $100,000 donation from the venture capitalist Ron Conway in November, according to state campaign finance records.
By the way, Gavin Newsom is apparently raising money to fight AGAINST the billionaire tax. So thoughtful of him to come to their aid at this particular time in history,

Canine tails are pretty nifty but I can't tell you the number of times I wished I had a spider monkey tail so I could USE it like a THIRD HAND.
