You *can* highlight authors who are out publicly, but all it needs is trans/gender expansive rep to count gender is a spectrum. No two experiences are going to be identical, so it’s well worth reading and learning about as many as you can! not all nonbinary, third gender, indigenous, 2spirit, gender expansive people identify as trans, so please keep that in mind and seek out the language these people use for themselves to describe them. Be specific and mindful in your own descriptions. above all, support and uplift the real people this event is here to celebrate. Do what it takes to treat everyone respectfully, and have fun!

I've been on ADHD medication for a week and I'm starting to think that maybe there's something to this medication thing. 😂 Every other time I've taken meds it either hasn't been noticeable or has made me feel gross. So happy I finally have meds that make me feel good.

I hate when people pretend like talent isn’t a learned trait. People who seem naturally talented have a history behind them that gave them those skills, usually by intent. You only see the end product.

Also hearing you’re good at something even when you’re not really eggs you on to keep trying.

If you want to be talented you just need to be delusional enough to believe one day you will be, hone your craft, learn from people who do what you want to do, and understand that you will probably feel like an imposter the whole time. One day you might actually feel talented every now and then.
