A yuri horror that captures the despair of a broken soul drowning in suicidal depression after loosing everything only to be "saved" by her professed yokai "executioner" so hauntingly and elegantly handled that it makes it easy to forgive it's slow start.

Outside of a new familiar added to the main cast, the new outing of the cooking Isekai from MAPPA dosn't really offer anything new, but continues to deliver the mouth-watering meals. So if S1 was satisfactory for you, S2 will be serve as a hardy 2nd helping.

As weird as it sounds, 'Might Nein', with its longer episodes letting the pacing breath & less reliance on raunchy humor fits the ragtag 'Guardians of the Galaxy' found family tone than 'Vox Machina' tries to accomplish. Tho the rushed finale does feel forced.
