Tsk. I haven't got time to read all that now as I'm reading this, and this.

Next up, Traveller with Sam Allardyce.
Just them corpsing made me laugh so much-also "Fancies himself a bit, always plays as a wood elf or a f***ing halfling" ๐คฃ
That is hilarious.

Best wishes sir, was very happy to hear about the positive outcome of your treatment. Be careful not to overdo it, I'd rather have a gap in episodes and know you're looking after you. I've been catching up with all the stories in theLibrary which is fantastic content-really enjoy your readings.
Epic epic fail of Chad like proportions.
On a slightly more serious note, how great a cover artist is Angus McBride. I know people rightly praise Howe and Lee, but just... wow.
Ooh you are awful, but I like you.
"It's ours it is and we waaaants it"
Yes but once in the vault Dave must remove his ceremonial Iron Crown and robes so he can commune nakedly with the Crit tables.
Trump briefings.
I don't want my shorts to be shorter than my wife's.

The showrunners on that series kept insisting that they love Tolkien and want to be respectful to the characters and the text and look what they produced!
I thought the Dune movies were a much worse adaptation than Jackson's movies but everybody gushed over those so I appear to be in the minority.
It's such an epic that only a long-form TV series can do it justice but a studio probably won't get the returns in their budget that they might on a cinema release. Look at the debacle that was the Amazon series "supposed" adaptation of some Second Age events, it was appalling.
I certainly didn't like some of the changes but it's an honourable attempt to put Tolkien's world on screen with good direction and fantastic design. To me it's not a patch on the audio adaption but that is 13 hours, didn't require millions in terms of production and still doesn't adapt everything.
I expect in part because it was a monumental achievement in the way they created it and that is generally faithful to the text. It was for some their equivalent of the SW OT culturally as it didn't just attract Tolkien fans and was a worldwide success.
I just backed Dungeon, Inc. on @kickstarter.com www.kickstarter.com/projects/896...

Hopefully Andor inspires him to write decent dialogue and storylines then.
Oh, not so far.
Yeah stop kink shaming Dave you bigots!
Sorry I couldn't resist.
