We now have 15 senior FIT outfield players available to us that can realistically start PL matches (this includes Clyne & Devenny). I refuse to include Ward & Schlupp as ‘options’. And we only have 4 players injured (Riad, Doucoure, Wharton & Franca). Squads a shambles.

“Froze Out” is referring to Holding. “Loan” is referring to the others 😊

The one that irritates me the most is Holding. Whilst he’s not looked amazing - he’d provide the Premier League experienced cover we urgently need at CB right now. I get he’s pissed Glasner off, but if we’re paying his wages we may as well utilise him? Surely he’s learnt his lesson by now? #CPFC

2/2 This all points to the squad being way too small. I know this was a conscious choice as to not block pathways for younger players - but other than the emergence of Devenney, this has left us short compared to others around us (especially off the bench). Guehi’s had to play in CM ffs! #CPFC

It’s mad to think of how many players we’ve loaned or frozen out that would help give us the depth we need.
