It’s also important because recommendations have changed! They’re now teaching hands-only CPR (no rescue breathing) and they’ve changed how you do it for infants.

None of these people has any idea what the folks they oversee actually do.

CPR saves lives and increases the likelihood of survival of cardiac arrest by a LOT. Highly recommend taking a class (our local fire dept offers them for free, or $50 if you want the official card).

* a guy who is part of a ham radio society that supports local firefighters and law enforcement when comms go down
* people like me that just feel like knowing CPR is a good idea in general

I went to a CPR class tonight to renew my certification and was delighted by the folks who were there:
* couples expecting their first kids
* grandparents, including a couple named BERNIE AND BERNICE
* a young guy who wants to be a firefighter
* several members and coaches from a local rowing club

We recently got a Speed Queen top loader and so far I really like it. Is it energy efficient? Not really! Does it get stuff clean? Hell yeah.

We do them on a sheet pan under the broiler so the chips get extra crispy. Cheese/beans or meat on top in the oven, guac etc added after.
