A friend of mine who runs these things always repeats something to me along the lines of "Playtests and Research isn't for telling you the right thing to do, it's to confirm to you that your assumptions are correct and that your intentions are getting through to the players" and that's stuck with me

How did you do the rotating player visuals?
Maybe you could visualize the changing bar by having pulsate (embiggen, back to normal) for a short while? I had a bit of trouble seeing the particle. Thought it was a snowball with which the player shoots at the skiers 😅

I actually use `...__`, but that would have muddied my point
I always had the issue that in signal receiving callables I needed to declare all parameters, even though I only wanted to respond to an emitted signal, and not use the provided params.
Varargs to the rescue: `signal_name.connect(func(..._ignored): …)`. Nicer and clearer 🥰

I wanted to get a video of this ghost crab but every time I got close to their hole they scuttled back in, so I tried getting clever with it. I made a little sandcastle and shoved my phone into it, hit record, and walked away. Crab was VERY suspicious of this addition to their environment.
