i made a plugin for Premiere and After Effects! it improves hue/saturation color science using @bottosson.bsky.social 's Oklab color standard
the star bokeh and rainbow prism stuff was done in camera, and i built a fake lens flare with a star in it in after effects and composited it into some shots. with the second still here i was fully stealing from brendon burton (dreamflasher mv) in terms of framing
this retro-reflective jacket was messed up and shedding material everywhere. it's invisible until you put on a headlight and then Everywhere is covered in sparkles
the disco ball that gets destroyed is a baseball piñata covered in mirror squares
dolly spectra performs in a motion capture exoskeleton and we used that for the animation! really interesting process to try

the party scene was shot in an underpass. we tied ropes to the fence above it and rigged up 13 disco balls (luckily i have a friend who collects them) balloons, streamers, etc
