🧵1. I'm moving from Hong Kong to Taipei. I lived there for seven years 1997-2004 and saw huge changes: from garbage piled on the streets to a working system (with paid garbage bags lol), street dogs curbed, and most importantly the transition from martial law/dictatorship to democracy.
