'The Wrecking Crew' (2026) had me chuckling away throughout.
Thought the first half was funnier than the second, but amusing nonetheless.
Decent action sequences too, the opening fight with a bathrobed Mamoa was a highlight.
The cast really did it for me, spectacular.

'Skulduggery Pleasant: A Heart Full of Hatred' (2025) was a good follow up to the first phase 3 book.
Again, felt a bit more intimate and not quite as convoluted.
Don't really feel any particular way about all the stuff with Winter and the academy stuff, but the original characters still shone.

As an origin story taking, I enjoyed
'Wonder Woman: Earth One' (2016).
The artwork was pretty rad.
However, I had a nagging feeling. The way this version of the Amazonians treat the rest of the world to bring peace isn't done great.
Wasn't quite the Diana I imagine Wonder Woman to be.

Wrapped up 'Spyro: Reignited Trilogy' (2018) and found it to be a charming collect-a-thon.
May have gotten a little burnt out towards the end, but I played each game back to back.
It was interesting to see what was added to the later entries (not a fan of those skateboarding missions).

'Apocalypse Dog' (2022) started off really fascinating to me, then ended up being a bit meh.
Did enjoy though, and was quite whacky but also feel I won't really remember it all that much in a few months.
Liked the visual style.

Admittedly, I've not read all that much Batwoman, but 'Batwoman: Elegy' (2009) was ok.
Some things confused me, but overall I could follow along.
Didn't feel we actually saw Batwoman in action all that much, but the strongest parts were definitely all those involving Alice.

Had a good time 'All-Star Superman' (2005).
For someone who can be extremely hit or miss with how they find him, the fact I read this in two sittings is recommendation enough for me.
Some of the stories (whilst an overarching arc) were fantastic and could standalone. Artwork was pretty decent.

DC: The New Frontier (2004) was decent.
The origin of the Justice League was rad.
Sadly, it's dominantly about Hal Jordan and Rick Flagg- who is cool, but it's just military stuff.
My favourite two stories involved Martian Manhunter and The Flash.
The art was superb, really liked that.

Found myself really immersed in 'Venba' (2023). I can't speak from a personal standpoint, but I like to think the themes it was trying to get across were handled with care.
Found myself caring for the characters and their struggles.
The cooking aspects were very fun to play and the music bopped.

I really, really, enjoyed 'Wonder Man' (2026). Probably one of my favourite MCU projects of recent years.
It was less about superpowers and more just about the film industry and male companionship and I thought it was great.
A WONDERful cast.

As someone who is (to put it lightly) also an overthinker, I felt like I could really relate to 'Analysis Paralysis' (2016) and the things that may seem trivial to some.
The art style was superb and I like the use of sound too. Simply brilliant.

I have been reminded just how fleeting life can be thanks to 'A Single Life' (2014).
I've also learnt you can have a pretty dope dwelling at any stage of your life, but more importantly- always enjoy the pizza.
Superbly dark humour at the end which had me chuckling away.

'(Otto)' (2015) took a few turns I wasn't expecting and I'm actually viewing it through the lens of a horror film.
Something about it has me feeling it'll be stuck in my brain for a long time.

'Stitch'(2024) is a decent introduction to Frankenstein-esque tales and a look at all the themes.
I liked the characters and can see how they were like the orginals.
The writing baffled me a little. Maybe it was meant to reflect the increasing awareness and intelligence or characters?

I'll be honest, I got as confused in parts of 'Batman: Hush' (2002) as I think Batman does fighting his foes (and friends).
Lots of things happen that have stuck in Batman lore (though maybe not a good starting point).
The mystery and reveals were meh, but established characters were rad.

'X-Men: Apocalypse' (2016) is enjoyable enough, and there are some lovely visual treats at times.
Favourite scenes are, unsurprisingly, Quicksilver and the X-Mansion dance funk sequence, and the one where a grizzled Canadian goes on a mad rampage as he escapes a naughty government facility.

Don't think anything about 'GOAT' (2026) caught me off guard or hadn't been done before. However, it's ok to have another underdog story to switch off to and appreciate.
Voice acting was great and the animation was superb.
I'd happily watch this extreme version of basketball in real life.

'Tropic Thunder' (2008) really makes me chuckle.
It knows how ludicrous things in Hollywood are, I think that's the point.
A magnificent cast (one of my RDJ faves) and even in 2026, it holds up.
The fake movie trailers are brilliant. I think they are better than many genuine ones we get today.

'Toy Story' (1995) is brilliant.
I'm Team Buzz. Actually, I think I'm Team Army Troopers, those dudes know how to get something done.
Classic Pixar magic, all about accepting things change and having to move on.
I wish little me had been to Pizza Planet. My chunky tum would have loved it there.

'Reservoir Dogs' (1992) is just a bunch of dudes having a meltdown in a warehouse after a bank robbery goes wrong, whilst distrust festers amongst them and one bleeds profusely over the floor.
There's also a fruity torture scene and several flashbacks that flesh out some characters.
It's superb.

'Punisher: War Zone' (2008) had that 2008 sheen to the shots and feel to the film.
I liked this version of Frank Castle. Bit more of his humanity shone through.
Gnarly kills.
The "crazy brother" was annoying; seemed like a caricature. Did think Jigsaw's make-up was rad.

'Fallout S2' (2025-2026) felt a bit more like a season 2.5, but I still enjoyed every episode.
Feels like the Fallout universe in TV Form.
A scene in the finale made me weep with joy and saw many nostalgia tears flow.

I realise for all the adaptations (across all media) I've got on board with, I've never actually read the original.
Anyhow, 'Doctor Who: Dracula' (2025) was great. I liked how Dracula and all the mythology was wrapped up in a sci-fi/Doctor Who bundle.
The characterisation was superb.

'Have a Nice Death' (2023) could be a BRUTALLY punishing rogue-like.
Felt very RNG dependent, and the more you unlocked and added to the pool, in ways, the more trouble you may have.
That said, I enjoyed finally getting to and beating the final boss.
The characters and lore were rad.

'Alex Rider: Nightshade' (2020) felt more like Horowitz's expected, by the numbers, writing again.
By no means bad, it's worth a read, but sometimes the man needs to be reeled in a bit with all his descriptions.
Nightshade also in no way felt as threatening as they were made out to be.

'Kingdom Come' (1996) was superb. Alex Ross's art is rad.
I liked seeing everyone aged up.
Being an elseworld story meant we actually got some permanent deaths and that was most welcome.
Not quite sure how Bruce manages to wear his exo-skeleton over a suit, but he's Batman after all.

I liked it 'The Authority: Relentless' (1999)
Nice to see the "good guys" using lethal force if necessary and not whining about it.
Didn't know the characters. Some were interesting. No homework needed.
Once described to me as "edgy Justice League" but I didn't think that at all. Well-written.

Felt I learnt quite alot with 'Olivia Attwood: Getting Filthy Rich' (2022)
Each episode was a different aspect of a certain type of industry, and I do like how it did give some opinion and perspective from numerous sides.
Didn't feel completely biased and was (I thought) quite open-minded).

Enjoyed 'Dceased' (2019).
I'll consume zombie media faster than the undead can chow down on humanity.
One of the better Elseworld stories. Some of the deaths hit hard.
The artwork was groovy.
A few bits of dialogue really made me chuckle. Was used sparingly. Good old, Green Arrow.

'Alex Rider: Never Say Die' (2017) is some of Horowitz's best work.
New characters memorable and returning ones developed more.
Scorpia is this version of SPECTRE, but I think Scorpia sounds cooler.
Kidnapping school children is a ballsy move.
Alex is arguably a psychopath.
