The fact that one of the most interesting versions of Captain Hook is probably from the 90's Fox's Peter Pan & The Pirates, is kind of crazy.
HA they went hard with his dialog....man I haven't seen this in 20 years.
I'm not the only one that thinks this! Ever since the peak of the MCU, it's like movies are no longer concerned about letting the movie breathe and take in the moment, but rather get the audience to scream as loud as possible with things they already know in place of actual investment in the story.

This. We make art because we love what we're making, but the point of expressing that art is to connect with others, to have a human-to-human connection. External validation shouldn't be your motivation, but having that effort and heart answered is the lifeblood of creativity.
