This Wednesday, FBU representatives attended a historic meeting. For the first time in more than 20 years, the FBU has been invited to advise ministers directly on fire service policy.

This week, we hosted an international summit of firefighting unions.
The EPSU Firefighters' Network is a vital forum to develop international links and solidarity on issues such as Decon, health and safety and climate action.

I attended the @fbunational.bsky.social Women’s Committee AGM in Cardiff this week.
Fantastic to see so many reps there, planning how more can be done to improve the fire service for women.
Plenty to do, but I’m glad I can use my role to support them in their important fights.
