Amazing. I have a Q5 (as required by law in central Austin) and I bet I could fit this in the back without even putting the seats down.

Everybody in America has to buy this for their next car, I don't make the rules
Thank you. Confused at first and was intrigued at how tiny South Korea was such a massive beef exporter. And thank you for bringing βBeef Magazineβ to my attention.
That second chart: thatβs US exports to those countries, not those countryβs exports, yes?
A correlation between specialty coffees and loneliness, per The Washington Post
An inverse correlation between Pirates and Global Warming, per The Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster
As a practicing Pastafarian, I accept this correlation between specialty coffees and loneliness.
A strike rate below around 58% is nearly untenable in the Majors. Successful outings are uncommon and/or come by the skin of your teeth.
Alexis Diaz's strike rate this spring is 40%. Today was, uh, not good. He does have an option.
It's just tables!
Hola. I have a 'Hitters26' tab on my Rangers org sheets (rangers.scottlucas.com/tr/org.htm) w/ pitch results, whiff/chase/contact, EV, hard-hit & contact types. Shading for best/worst at certain aspects. Mini-reports on performance & outlook. But, like the '26Pitchers' tab, it's just tables.
Abi Ortiz off to an exceptionally slow start for Washington, 0-for-14, 2 BB, 3 K. Chase and contact rates are fine but just one hard hit (barely), median EV 81, lots of popups.
I keep these decades-old headlines from @theonion.com on my phone specifically for for these situations.
Me and Michael Irvin
Hereβs me and Michael Irvin. God, I look so tiny. But I was certainly 6β1 in cleats, probably weighed around 170 at the time.
Only thought that, didnβt say it, because 1) obviously unprofessional thing to say, and 2) Ken Norton Jr.
If Ken Norton Jr. comes across this, itβs totally made up, just for laughs, ha ha
Used to officiate HS football and would work Cowboys practices in the 90s when they trained in Austin. Ken Norton Jr got right in my face about a pass interference call, and my thought was βyouβre listed 6β2 but Iβm 6β1 on a good day and Iβm taller than you and Iβm not even wearing a helmet.β

Honestly feels like Iβm basking in some ruggedness, maybe I should run.
Teixeira only has to fend off Vicente Padilla in the general.
Josh Sborz threw 3 pitches in the 93.9-94.3 range, equal to or faster than his best of '25. 2 strikes, the other barely outside to a lefty, the kind of pitch usually called a strike (and it was) but successfully challenged. Still a touch below '24 velo & certainly below '23, but it's something.
One Riot One Ranger statue of a Texas Ranger law officer relocated to Globe Life for some reason
Statue is so monochromatic, dude could really use a rainbow-stripe bandana.
MLB Pipeline has updated top 30s for east divisions. Washington's haul for Gore ranked thusly:
5 - Fien (not top 100 overall but 1-4 are)
8 - Fitz-Gerald
15 - Rosario
20 - Cabrera
24 - Ortiz
Spring debuts for Otanez, Pence, Trentadue. Otanez is on the 40, nominally in battle for bullpen spot, also DFA candidate.
Pence was RP in college but now an actual SP candidate. Trentadue has shot as well. Probably both in AA in April unless Texas wants a smidge more high-A action for Pence.
Uh, graphic design is not my passion, plus once the real season gets underway these stats are mostly useless, so this is just a massive table because I wanted to get something up. But it'll give you more insight into, say, R5 pick Carter Baumler, who's been making a strong case so far.
My Rangers org repository now has a bunch of Spring Training info for pitchers: last outing summary, general notes, a host of basic and Statcast data (strike rates, chase rates, contact rates and quality, pitch velos). See "26pitchers" tab in rangers.scottlucas.com/tr/org.htm. Will do hitters next.
Josh Sborz had a spotless inning with one K in his spring debut. FB average 93.4, top 93.9. In last year's rehab he also topped at 93.9 but averaged only 91.7. 2024 avg was 95.1, 2023 was 96.9. So avg velo was halfway between 2024 and 2025 today.
This is weird. Their main park definitely measures velo. All ST stadium data is public now. Maybe they're talking about the back fields?
AZ played Evan Carter's bloop single into a triple
Evan Carter: 84 MPH, 25 degrees, 291 feet to LC. Result: triple.
Montgomery Capone
Sorry, bad phrasing. A waste even if the call was overturned.
It's just an exhibition, but Kyle Higashioka challenged a 0-0 ball call with none on and two out in the top of the 1st. Call upheld. Basically a waste of a challenge even if he was right.
Punch me please
Never head of Soave but his face has Shkreli-level punchability.
Crismatt would be a helluva comeback story.
Yeah. I had no idea either. Kind of like you say, Iβd never thought about her age because she just looks like an ordinary person.
