Partisan gerrymanders may be legal, but only because SCOTUS said so. They are anti-democratic measures used by a party that fears losing power to hold onto control, a mechanism that lets parties choose their voters instead of letting voters choose who will represent them.
Next time someone on the right claims all the political violence in this country is coming from the left, not the right, do please show them this.

I examined the fact that Niemöller initially supported the Nazis, which often gets forgotten. When it posted, several people I respect unsubscribed. That's not unexpected, but it still saddens me. It also tells me that it is material that might interest you.
