Well, it was needed. I was pretty bad in my younger days. After I joined the KDF, I wanted to be the Klingon warrior like him. I was a clumsy fool back then. Now, I'm Federation Ambassador to the Klingon Empire. I've done a lot of growing up since then.

Also, father sent me to a Klingon school to learn about the value of honor and to straighten me out.
