Radical leftist!
Yes itβs hard to see a principle behind it. Plenty of minority or dispossessed groups around the world demanding separation or independence - would their slogans all be banned just because someone doesnβt agree? - Uighurs, Chechens, Crimean Tatars, Kurds, Catalans, Scots, Basques, Tibetans..

True, Trump makes GWB look like Churchill.
Morally bad. He was simply addressing the legal issues, more in response to questions raised about the Indian government rather than the US Navy.
On double tap strikes on drug/fishing boats it says βLegal experts have said such strikes could violate laws of warfare.β Itβs the effing strikes themselves that are illegal not just the double taps.
Donβt they checked too hard if women and kids were around in Obamaβs (probably illegal) drone strikes. But this was the Navy, not Trump.
True to a point. Although people were also raising these questions under Obama and GWB.
Agreed, though I donβt think it was addressing the question of moral clarity.
Jus ad bellum - the law under which a state may justifiably resort to war - is regarded as distinct from jus in bello - the laws of armed conflict, how they are fought, like the Geneva Conventions. Hereβs a useful article on the Iranian ship issue.

You probably know this but war crimes are governed by whether it is an armed conflict- which means when the shooting starts: even US attacks on Venezuelan fishing boats are defined by some as an armed conflict, i.e even if the target isnβt military.

Maybe she can work out why, if I clicked on that story, it would take me back afterwards to the beginning of my feed, hours ago. I would have to scroll through miles of posts to get back to this spot. Didnβt happen before. Or maybe @bluesky.social could answer my questions about it.
Some but not most
Itβs complete nonsense. Nothing to do with Trump. Moves were already under way to help them, but quietly not in public. Trump was just responding to trouble makers on social media making out that Australia was going to βsend them backβ. A delicate operation to make contact & ascertain their wishes.
Literally? How do you that? A day, a minute later, Iran would have dropped a nuke on Israel/developed a deliverable nuclear weapon?

Much to Trumpβs shock and disappointment, the Assembly of Experts passed over Ayatollah Rubio. www.washingtonpost.com/world/2026/0...
Dad gets to be martyr, to boot. And they killed the missus, so that may or may not affect him negatively.
Who doesnβt want World, Safety AND Peace!
Youβre not in favour of WORLD PEACE?!
Odd headline. Presumably means consult rather than re-examine or rethink.
@bsky.app Every time I read an article from a post in my feed, i get taken back to beginning of my feed, rather than to the last post I read. Why canβt you fix this?
