If he pulls it back for a pen then the goal gets scrubbed off, and its 0-0 with a Pen. The refereeing and VAR has been shit, no denying it. But on this one they did the right thing which was to let us keep the lead and not pull it back for a Pen.

I'm sorry but this is a laughable statement. What exactly can the UK do?
- Under Trump, the US isn't adhering to Intl law so there are no legal means of challenging them.
- Trade barriers would hurt us more than them so tariffs won't work
- So are you suggesting we challenge them with militarily? ๐ค
How can you write all of that out and conclude its the players...FFS! The players didnt choose the same 11 to play 2 intense games in 3 days. The players didn't choose to not be more aggressive with subs in the last 2 games or to have rotated the squad better during the season.
Don't care if I sound like a broken record, but we need to move on from Farke. Not good enough and tonight was another example of Farke's limitations: poor squad rotation, tactically inflexible, and ingame limitations.
Ah the old "out of sight, out of mind!" ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ Such shocking ableist language & attitude! Proper 1950s stuff!
People with disabilities have the RIGHT to be in the same spaces as everyone else. There is no hierarchy! Maybe what we need is a bit more understanding and compassion.
There were rumours that the 49ers, knowing they were taking over, pushed for him to be brought back after JM was fired, but Radz still being at the club put him off. By the summer, he had taken on the Intl role. So, you never know! Stranger things have happened. ๐ค๐ผ
Great set of results for us. Keeps Forest and Spurs below us and Palace are still within reach along with Newcastle. Pick up 6 or more points from the next 3 and we can start looking at how high we can finish rather than looking down. #LUFC
And maybe try being open minded that for many their booing had nothing to do with the players breaking their fast...

Burnley vs Everton 2022. Very easy to chuck stones at other fan bases yet you & Burnley's lot also undertook booing for the same break in play! So rather than badmouthing an entire fanbase, maybe you should acknowledge that there is a segment of our society that is rotten & it shows up in all teams.
What a daft thing to say. It is possible for a coach to deliver, but there be room for improvement. Even the best coaches have weaknesses.
You're effectively calling for blind loyalty to DF. Well, I want what's best for Leeds & there are areas DF needs to improve like in-game management & subs.
Agreed. Its why that table doing the round looking at who has the easiest and toughest run in, is bollocks. At this time of the season it becomes incredibly difficult to predict and what was a hard fixture previously may not be now and visa versa.
Trump's definitely got a budding stand up career in the offing after he leaves office! ๐
We had Nmecha, Longstaff, Tanaka, Gnonto, James & Bijol on the bench. With those players we could've played 3 or 4 diff formations or at least brought on 5 players with fresh legs.
Its not like under MB where we just had kids. Yes we need upgrades, but the bench wasn't that bad. There were options.
On the bench: Gnonto, Nmecha, Bijol, Tanaka, Longstaff & James amongst others. All capable of coming on and fulfilling different roles, in different systems that would have been problematic for Villa. But yeah, they're all crap! ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ Wow! That's really your defence of Farke?
Thats ridiculous and you know it. But sure be a happy clapper. I'd rather want what's best for my club, and that's a manager with better squad management, more in-game tactical nous, less favouritism and not freezing players out for no reason.
In isolation yes, but this is a pattern of results. Too often we've taken the lead early on in games and he's sat back. Over 70% of his subs come after we've conceded and less than 25% of our goals are scored after he's made subs, ie he leaves it too late and subs are ineffective.
Another game, another 2pts dropped due to poor in-game management. 2 subs! ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ Just like the Everton game.
That's 17pts from winning positions chucked away!!
But yeah, great result. ๐ซค #LUFC
So need to move on from Farke in the summer. His poor management of the squad is so frustrating.
Yes, I appreciate the nuance your are pointing too. However, both National Polls & regional polls are consistently showing the same message: A splintering of the support on the Left across 3 parties and a sizeable increase in support for Reform. So, I think its safe to say the Reform risk is real.
Another daft U-Turn that panders to Reform. FFS! I am sick of seeing this Govt flatter to deceive.
Came here to say the same. The fragmentation of the vote only serves to benefit the party with the highest share in a FPTP system, in this case Reform. The smartest thing Labour could do would be to table a vote in the HoC proposing a PR system. This would pull the rug from under Reform's feet.
I'm sorry, giving him 45mins against Bham & 5/10mins sub appearance every other Prem game is the issue, not whether he has "the balls." No player is going to suddenly turn it on if they are getting such little minutes. The same goes for a few others in the squad that aren't Farke Favourites.
"Other teams with bigger, more expensive PL squads"... like B'ham? Bcoz they rotated 6 players today & still came within a few mins of beating us.
Maybe bcoz their coach gives fringe players more than 5/10mins game time.
But sure, Farke can do no wrong; Tanaka & Gnonto are crap all of a sudden.
Sorry I was running out of characters. I meant lack of a "credible" alternative on the right, not that there wasn't actually another Right leaning candidate. The Tories have Charlotte Cadden, but she is running in the low single digits in the polls.
This is my gut feel too. Both Labour and the Greens seem to be running really strong ground games with decent support, but all it does is split the vote on the Left. The lack of an alternative on the Right to reform could help reform sweep up a large % of right leaning voters.
The pen isn't, but this performance is! Farke has got this tactically wrong, with a honking starting 11.
He should only be livid with himself. Let's not use that moment of stupidity from Bijol to excuse this insipid performance. Lucky to only be 1-0 down before the Pen.
The genius of Farke. ๐๐๐
Farke masterclass again! ๐ฉ
