It was amazing. And further confirmation that I could never be vegan. 😅

It really was! 😊
Writing a novel has led me to learn about stuff I never even considered before. Ships, specifically. Cargo ships. Chain lockers, collision bulkheads, longitudinal frames, transverse frames. It's wild that this information now exists in my head.
You mentioned that about A24 horror, I don't think I've asked, why do you hate them?
I feel this. The discourse around a movie can become insufferable sometimes, like you’re not allowed to simply dislike a movie—if you do, then you must have some insidious agenda or something.
BBQ ribs, fried rice, curly fries, and beer!
And thanks to my period, I can no longer fast for now. So let’s eat!
Oh, these look perfect! Thank you!
An old, faded, iMac keyboard.
Guys, I need your help. My keyboard is so old now. I clean it every few days, but look how faded it is by now. I need to get a new one. You got any recommendations? It's for an iMac, so it should be wireless. But the official Apple keyboards are so expensive. I need something more... poor-friendly.
Ew. Anything above 85 should be illegal.
I can understand that. What kind of a job are you looking for?
Riggs is supposed to be the crazy one but at the start of Lethal Weapon 1, Murtaugh is shown having a morning bath on a workday. That is absolutely insane behaviour
Yes, financial stress is so brutal. I hope you can find a job soon.
New York City.
Me, too. I think it's my favorite. But whenever I watch 4, I'm like, maybe this one is my favorite. It's a struggle. 😅
Haha, I know! I always forget he's in it.
I can never decide which one's my favorite. 2 or 4.
Plus, I wanted to create a harsh contrast, with the main storyline set in this miserable cold, haha, and the flashback storyline set during a heatwave.
Setting my novel at Christmastime was a poor logistical choice, because I’ve now put my characters at risk of hypothermia twice. Then I had to figure out how to save them without slowing the story down. Part of me wishes I’d chosen summer, but the Christmas setting was too delicious to pass up.
Yeah, that's how I feel about it. The action is well done and all, but despite the movie being 3 hours long, the emotional aspect feels rushed and undercooked.
That's awesome! And happy birthday!

The reactions I've seen to this movie are such polar opposites, but this one may be the most balanced I've read yet. Thanks for sharing! I'm looking forward to watching this movie and see where it lands for me.
Well, now I'm intrigued!
I think roughly once a month, more or less.
That's a great accomplishment. But I'd suggest, focus more on consistency than on the amount of words. This is awesome. Keep going!
I should write about how Robert De Niro's portrayal of Jack Walsh in MIDNIGHT RUN in 1988 paved the path for Seann William Scott's shtick in the early 2000s. I know, I know that sounds stupid, but it's all there if you pay attention to the details.
Alonzo Mosely, FBI.
I've never been a fan of sequels ditching the score from the original movie, but I do love Randy Edelman's score from GHOSTBUSTERS II. This specific recurring motif has fascinated me since I was a kid. I've always felt it gives the movie emotional weight despite all its silliness.
Speaking of GHOSTBUSTERS, now I can't stop thinking about this Elmer Bernstein track. I generally prefer Randy Edelman's score from the sequel, but this specific track from the original movie just makes me feel super nostalgic.
