I apologise. I am showing you the pastry. I pity you for being unable to eat it for I have had the baker killed
Sitting in a cafe on a sunny morning with no need to do anything is what my life was designed to be. I have coffee, a book, a pastry, and music

Rabbit Moon
You think you see the Moon
a white disc in the sky swooped
for you into the shape of a heart.
Too much yearning had you run free
but the barn owl was always a weapon β
just feathered in the language of love.
Another night, a different moon.
I might have held you.

The first gen had proper wheels I think, licensed from Bang and Olufsen. But this one is still ace. Iβm just so tired of stuff doing what I donβt need
Loving having a basic iPod again. So much so that I found a Bose dock online which came with the iPod Touch. My son is using that so we can just pop our pods in and listen. I could never have afforded this at the time but it still does the job perfectly

Perfect! With carrot cake as a side dish
I was thinking potatoes but ok
I had cake for breakfast and now Iβm having a muffin for lunch. It seems unreasonable, now, to not have cake for dinner
AND it has no external speaker to annoy other people. AND having wired earphones again is just fine. It just works, basically
I got rid of so many cds, cassettes, dvds and vhs tapes. Crazy
Also beautiful tactile objects to hold π§‘
Yes!
I have woken up, at last. Woken to the idiocy of my relationships with media. Iβve bought an old iPod classic and loaded all my old mp3s on it. I donβt want to keep paying just to listen to stuff I own and nor do I want to listen to ads. iPods were a happy compromise
AI photos attached to news stories: Seriously, gtf.

Iβm a street photographer and Iβve spent many years photographing women both candidly and in portraits. This is a thread of some of my photos to celebrate International Womenβs Day. These images were captured all over the world and some of them go back about 20 years

Boosting this for Andy - his kits are incredibly cool and well thought out. Really enjoyed building mine and it gets a fair amount of use. Website link below.
