A kettle that has grown a face, legs and tail leaps off the heat, steam rises and water spills.
In #JapaneseFolklore there is a famous folktale called 'Bunbuku Chagama' which is about a tanuki who shapeshifts into a tea kettle. It then periodically sprouts legs, a tail and a head and proceeds to dance around before returning to its regular kettle form.
