Today we visited the Italian forest tree nursery Vivaio Forestale Pascul - Tarcento in the autonomous region of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
Our goal was to establish cooperation between forest reproductive material experts from both sides of SLO-ITA border.
Cooperation is set to continue in 2025.

Yesterday we made a field excursion to the Slovenian Karst and presented ongoing forest restoration, soil microbiome and tree physiology and biodiversiry projects within our department.
Weather wasn't perfect but the atmosphere was great anyway.
