Daniel scored 5 goals tonight from great passes by his teammates in a 9-2 win. Their team, Texas LoneStars, finished the season in 1st place with 7 wins, 0 losses, and 1 draw.

Ruth, Daniel, and I did City Climb at 107 floors up in New York City

Flying to DC to visit Ruth for fall break.

Down 0-1, Daniel scored a penalty kick as goalkeeper in 1st half. He played forward 2nd half and had a nice assist to Liam for a clinical finish to win 2-1.

We helped Ruth move into her dorm yesterday. Can’t believe this day has come. Amy and I are flying home now. Excited for this next stage of life for Ruth but also sad that we had to say goodbye. We know she is going to do great.

10 years ago, we had just moved into this house and Ruth stayed up to build this Lego Eiffel Tower. Now it’s her last night before going off to college. Lots of emotions but grateful for the memories!

Ruth leaves for college on Wednesday. We visited all 6 places she has lived in.

First day of school for 2025-2026. Lucy and Betty are in 11th grade. Daniel is in 7th grade.

Daniel scored a PK as goalie. He played some goalie today since our usual goalkeeper was out of town.

I moved from Lamesa to Lubbock in 1992. The Lady Raiders won the b-ball national championship that next season. We got close to a natty in 2019 when I went to Minneapolis with my dad for the Men’s Final Four. Now I’m in OKC with Ruth to see Texas Tech Softball in the final game of the WCWS.

Met up for lunch with a friend from residency today | 2006 NBA Finals in Dallas when we were residents | 2006 SAEM Annual Meeting in San Francisco.

Daniel got to play up with the 2012 team at a tournament in Round Rock this past weekend. He had an assist in the 1st game and they went 4-0 and won their division.

Crazy it went from a Memphis challenge that was trying to switch possession to giving up 2 points on free throws. I guess it made up for the earlier successful Memphis challenge that went from made 3 and defensive foul to offensive foul on Lively.
