We also saw a panel about Older Jews after the Holocaust, with a presentation from Acting Co-Director Christine Schmidt on survivor and childhood pedagogy specialist Nelly Wolffheim, alongside other research relating to the current exhibition on older Jewish experiences at @wienerlibrary.bsky.social
We also heard from Elise Bath and Ian Rich @wienerlibrary.bsky.social who discussed Jewish refugee experiences of British internment in Mauritus and postwar responses to incarceration on the Isle of Man. @bcflconference.bsky.social

The HGRP is pleased to announce a new exhibition launching at @wienerlibrary.bsky.social on 12 November! This exhibition explores the choices and humanity of older Jews in the face of persecution, flight and survival.
The exhibition explores the choices and humanity of older Jews in the face of persecution, flight and survival. Through rare photographs, personal stories and objects, the exhibition challenges our perceptions of age, vulnerability and agency, offering a vital new lens on the Holocaust.
A new exhibition co-curated with Dr Dan Stone from @rhulholocaustri.bsky.social and @wienerlibrary.bsky.social through the Holocaust and Genocide Research Partnership is launching on Wednesday 12 November.
