Developed in the course 'Film Archive Workshop – Collecting, Viewing, Mediating'. The ongoing project combines research, curatorial reflection and hands-on work with analogue film. This selection comes from a collection assembled by Ralph Kissner, which is being catalogued and researched since 2021.

Students present 8mm films from the university archive. On Screen: Home movies from the 1960s–80s — travel, family moments, small cinematic experiments. Highlight: a 1965 vacation film that accidentally captures the shooting of the Beatles film HELP!.
The second day of the festival almost exclusively relied on 35mm and 16mm prints. It was a blast!

PICNIC PASSIONS (Collection Film No. 67, Super 8, 1979)
EL SATARIO (possibly 1907-1912, possibly Argentina). If the date is correct, this is one of the earliest surviving hardcore films. It's certainly one of the most notorious stags. Screenshot from a new 2K scan of the 16mm reduction print at Paderborn University.
