This photo was taken looking downward at my wooden desk where some art supplies surround the finished original artwork - An intersex inclusive progress pride flag with each color element collaged from magazine cutouts, photos, art paper, and cardstock. The yellow triangle shape at the top includes a printed art paper gifted to me by my sister and a cutout of a yellow daisy. Instead of the purple circle which is usually in this flag design, I have cut out a purple heart outline to rest in the center of the yellow triangle, overlapping the daisy petals. The waterfall of triangles below this are white, baby pink, and baby blue which represent the trans pride flag, followed by the brown and black colors which emphasize the experiences of LGBTQ+ people of color. From these cascading arrows, the six colors of the rainbow pride flag fall downward in vertical stripes. From right to left: Red roses, orange concrete wall, yellow lemons and a flower, green plants and aquatic life, blue water and sky and a school of fish, purple pansies. Despite my best efforts to keep them out of the photo, my pasty white legs and one of my feet are in the bottom left corner of this picture. Ha!
This photo is also taken looking downward at my wooden desk. On the desk is a finished original artwork - This is a narrow white page with black handwritten text and dark collaged elements. From top to bottom, the piece includes: A wavy black line cut from a magazine; A phrase written in sharpie - Amamos nuestro vecindario; Five little black and dark colored hearts cut out of cardstock and magazines; A phrase written in sharpie - We love our neighborhood; Another wavy black line cut from a magazine.
An Intersex-Inclusive Progress Pride Flag Collage ๐ณ๏ธโ๐ and a Neighborhood Love Sign ๐ซถ that I recently finished up!
These are the originals/masters. Now I just need to sort out print shop details so I can make these available for my online shop and *finally* hang them in my own home. So excited!

A small piece of watercolor paper rests on a cook book near colored pencils. On the paper, an in progress multi-media piece can be seen. A dark grey-blue watercolor wash covers the background. In the center of the page, concentric circles of pastel yellow, light orange, and white-silver colored pencil blend into each other. In the middle of these concentric circles, there is a gap left in the shape of a semi-circle, so that the dark watercolor wash shows through. Because of this gap, the circles in the sky resemble a smiling emoji sans eyes, hence the "happy little void" mentioned above.
Here is a picture of the colored pencils I used for this mixed media piece, and cotton swabs used for blending, all of which are resting on a dusty coral colored mattress. The colored pencils are prismacolor brand: Cream PC914, Burnt Ochre PC943, 50% Warm Grey PC1054, Lemon Yellow PC915, Silver PC949, Violet Blue PC933, Orange PC918. The qtips have colored pencil on them from being used as blenders.
This is an image of my hand holding the finished mixed media piece "Waxing moon with glow rings." In the background of the image, you can see the colored pencils scattered around, the cookbook that I used as a drawing surface, and the mattress that I'm sitting on. In the artwork I'm holding up, there is a gold paper cut out in the shape of a semi-circular waxing moon, surrounded by blended concentric rings of yellow, orange, and soft white glow, all set in the middle of a dark grey-blue watercolor sky. The watercolor paper I'm holding has a border which has been left white, much like a polaroid image, and the title, my artist signature, and the date are written by hand in pink felt-tip pen at the bottom of the page in the white border.
Worked on a mixed media moon study last night. While it was in progress, before I adhered the moon itself, I realized that it looks like such a happy little void! Made me chuckle ๐คญ

A white medium-sized dog is in a sunny bedroom, laying on a carpeted floor, facing the camera. Along the wall behind the dog, there is framed art resting on the floor against a window and a bookshelf which is filled with art supplies. Surrounding the dog, there are organized stacks of colorful papers on the floor and cardboard boxes filled with gift wrap, envelopes, and other art materials.
My dog, Belle, helping with inventory management! Here we are organizing junk packs for my online shop. She's the best helper! ๐ฅฐ ๐พ ๐จ
