I'll take my chances in Silent Hill over Larne any day
stop using AI to do your research. it hallucinates too often. if you want an answer to something, post something arrogant on the appropriate subreddit. something like: "this item performs 10% better than everything else. only idiots deny this." this will bait nerds into doing your research for you.
Oh my god! I had this game, an instant nostalgia hit for me right there. It was so much fun, and picking the right slot for the sword and the end was such a rush when I was a kid.
This episode of Bluesky is called...
Started playing Project Zomboid with a mate that had never played it.
We were holed up in a kitchen.
Me: fighting off 3 z's at the door, blood covered, about to break, staring at deaths door.
Friend: asks me on mic "How do I put this popcorn I found into the microwave?"
I love this game so much.
Even the bedtime stories I'm reading my son are starting to throw shade at my general lack of motivation/organisation (or my ADHD)

I have that case but in black. I love it!
We had the pleasure of visiting here in 2025 for the first time. Such a fun, welcoming, magical gorgeous place. Looking forward to going back.

I was disappointed by this book and found it preaches more than it teaches. It also focuses so much on the experience as a parent that it might not resonate with a lot of people. In a similar vein, but better IMO, is the book "The Courage To Be Disliked" by Kishimi if anyone wants to try another.

Fantastic game. Actually find myself yelling out "Give me my ball back!" at the screen at times when it gets stuck up the top and enemies get closer and closer. Causes a lot of concern/confusion in my house.
Does anyone else have a Google Pixel phone and the fingerprint scanner just doesn't work like 30 percent of the time? I've redone it a few times and still no luck.
Beginning to think I have some weird indistinguishable fingerprint thing going on and should pivot to a life of crime
Completely agree. One thing that I have also noticed, that gives me a tiny sliver of hope, is the backlash from so many tech ppl around the sheer hog on resources the AI creates. Lots of folks will be fighting for sustainability next year and we have to do our part to support and lift them up π²πͺ
The 'kin' of βnapkinβ means "little."
βNapβ comes from βnape,' which means βtablecloth.β
So a napkin is a little tablecloth.
10/10, no notes.
You can try ice-free curling in Belfast city centre now. We tried it the other day. I was not very good. Will stick to the smaller version (shuffleboard)

Belfast was designed for division right from the start - in many ways it still suffers from problems introduced by planning many years ago. We've this ambition to connect the city better, but retrofitting anything now is so tough, Belfast already has some of the worst traffic congestion in Europe π«
The #1 movie when you were 10 years old is how your 2026 is going to go. It's going to be spectacular.

βThe Elf on the Shelf is a capitalist surveillance tool of the bourgeois class no different than the corporate Alexa devices that the sheep of America have willingly bugged their homes with,β said Kaitelynn, age 6 and Parkyr, age 4, in an adorable crayon-scribble manifesto.
I enjoy this one
I went through security at the airport just now (Belfast International) and for the first time in a very long time I didn't have to take ANYTHING out of my bag when going through security - laptop, liquids, everything left inside. So much easier!
I will never, ever get over this.
