With all the recent intense rainfall, many parts of the woods are gloriously full of water.
The forests, bogs, + other wild habitats we've removed once retained colossal amounts of water, preventing flooding downstream.
Between that and climate breakdown, we're creating a perfect storm for floods.
Did u know? It's been a fab year for Ladybirds. So wonderful to see them in such large numbers. Now, they're looking to find quiet corners to overwinter. Did u know? You don't get much for free in life,but used cafe coffee grounds are one of them. If you see them being given away in cafes, grab some & add them to your compost heap.
