Team Butterfly Forever is my favorite web serial I've read in the last year.
It has a lot of heart (as you would expect), it very effectively captures growing up in the 2000s and come into adulthood in the 2010s, and I love the worldbuilding.

good news
hux's "i just want kylo ren to lose" line is the *only* thing in rise of skywalker that works
Another request for assistance in #Lexicanum research: Does somebody have the FRENCH π«π· version of the 2nd edition Codex #Ultramarines? There is an unproven claim it contains the name of a Space Marine chapter that other versions don't have.

im not even actively rewatching the show right now these days its mostly pulled from youtube clips
my avatar policy is that i will just keep replacing my avatar every time i see usagi make a face that makes me go "hehehe that's a silly one"
the same folks who thought replacing the entire finance system with expensive computer encryption would work because Computer is higher on the chain than Economy obviously look at the machine that can spit out code as capable of anything
after all, it's good at the only thing that matters to them
so if you're a person for whom computer science is at the top of the hierarchy of reality, one can see how they'd look at a machine that can code at an intermediate level (in isolation) and go, holy fuck, most people can't code *at all*, so this thing is smarter than most people!
because LLMs can, to a degree, code. they're better at it than they are the vast majority of things; trying to make a project out of it will be a total disaster, but they can produce simple scripts just fine and in a way that does kinda seem magical
an observation: i think one of the elements of the ai tech bubble thing is a kind of reverse version of the expert's-hierarchy-of-reality thing, where people who work in a difficult field assume their field is the *most* difficult and all other fields are lesser 'easy problems' for them
"CAREFUL! THEY'RE GETTING INTO DIALOG RANGE!"

the box art for the launcher forager kit, showing three blue scrungaloids with grenade launchers in an urban environment. in the foreground is the smoking remains of half a scrungle
Men used to be able to support secret second families on one income
My advice to writers is to pick up the rocket launcher on level three, behind the hidden door in the yellow key room.
it wasn't a lowball it was 400,000 dollars in 1960s money, you gotta factor inflation in
don't worry all their sights are zeroed for negative 2000 meters range
You ever see a TTRPG opinion that makes you go βfive weeks isocubesβ and immediately draw your sidearm
all six of the five models in the scrungaloid launcher kit lined up
there we go, the full 5 model launcher forager kit all posed up
a brown and orange scrungaloid (Arteebus sibbick) with a targeter eyepiece braces herself in a low pose
6/5 Launcher Foragers
a red and blue scrungaloid (Arteebus sibbick) stalking forward with weapon at the ready
5/5 Launcher Foragers
a green and white scrungaloid (Arteebus aquillus) aiming down the sights of her gyrojetter with thump tube
4/5 Launcher Foragers
it's not useless, it's like a bren gun!
a purple and yellow scrungaloid (Arteebus kribbins) running forward
3/5 Launcher Foragers
that one 35 minutes ago watchman panel
