In a headline about a University campus, Senior as a noun normally denotes a 4th year student, which makes this headline wiggle in the brain

They've got both a natural drought and an extractive industry induced drought?

Yes, Rest of World reciprocates our American Exceptionalism bias against sport that isn't πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ focused. Silly both ways.
How πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ generic sports fans & ^calumnists^ react to FIFA WC this summer will be interesting.

Check all that apply. Here in US, yes it's usually racism; but the disrespect of the debacle of racing only 6 cars in US GP 2005 (Indy Road Course) was in the mix. (Makes the Pirelli tire era look good.)

Episode 436: Matthew Keagle, Fort Ticonderoga & Henry Knox's Noble Train of Artillery Explore Henry Knox's legendary expedition to move nearly 60 tons of artillery across lakes, rivers, and mountain passes in January 1776.

250 years ago, cannons from Fort Ticonderoga were placed on Dorchester Heights, and the British knew the Siege of Boston was over.

That artillery traveled 300 miles on sleds, across frozen rivers, and over the Berkshires. Here's the remarkable story

Original post on mstdn.social

The #MBTA BIG RED cars were created by removing seats from the inside and slapping stickers on the outside. Pretty cheap for "innovation", so I think it's high time the concept was expanded to all other lines. Someone who has the Ts ears should tell them a couple things:
1) the BIG RED train […]

Right.
Progressives should allow for the possibility of personal growth and redemption. (The Evangelicals talk it but mostly don't do it.)

HRC got over her Young Republican thing too.

(We also used to have NY-NE Liberal Republicans, who were useful for cross-aisle work.)

A really weird start to the year for A-M: Lance is not their biggest problem!

there is that; it now does what it says on the tin, alas.

(but the name-change is STILL just as illegal as all the other activities of this rogue regime. And the Navy should resent being folded under the Army's old name.)

This regime cabinet is not a good sign as they do not so assume.

(I've been reliably informed that there really is a bacterialogical problem with literal iced lattes (immediate icing of freshly steamed milk), which probably isn't what FitzBrainWorm is barking at, but maybe we can find a safe way to make a similar taste treat. Hmm. Ideas.)

I'm *not* welcoming this ArchCrack brainworm as am ally, but I'm glad he's broached the issue and picked a target that can and will fight back.

Right.
"Generally Presumed Safe" and allowed omissions in ingredients lists have been invisible elephants in the room, ignored by all political wings, anyone caring was dismissed as cranks. (I like breathing, so I have to care. )

Indeed. OTOH May be the only way to get Lance out of this car and into a more fitting seat (Le Mans ?)

Hoping I can sync BBB5L audio on SXM to AppleTV as I did to cable in prior years. But I do like the a F1TV crew prerace, so not complaining yet.
(I've been mostly happy with AppleTV for my MLS ⚽️ , so that's hopeful for their coverage.)

rewind when planned afternoon events finished.

Good season launch!

Interested to hear/see what else is happening with the new channel.
(And how hard/easy it will be to sync BBC 5Live audio from SXM with AppleTV?)

@chrismedlandf1.bsky.social apparently the exciting new home on SXM is why W2W started earlier on Wednesday than I expected, different channel, twice as much content, and rolling repeats. This is good.
