I had to fuck around with the peacocks' eyes quite a bit to get them to deform without clipping into their heads. It's a bit awkward seeing them from the side because both of the eye planes are just... there.

The angle certainly doesn't help.

Look at those blue glows, they're so fucking cool! Kinda forgot he had them when I modelled him years ago.

Three cheers for MORE layered frills. Though it's a fine line between accuracy and aesthetics, the big issue comes from the polycount when everything's connected.

While I fix the weights on Azizi's cape and elbows, I'll have to remember to also salvage his neat bioluminescence.

You know how Kasiya's tail gets all fat so he can sit on it?

I have zero idea how that works because it's not done by his anims - it doesn't even do it in umodel! Maybe it's a socket thing?

Other than that, he was a nice adventure in arms that are detached from the main mesh.

handwriting reads: i know i'm still being very loose with it here... thinking about where fingertips should be is also useful.. the hardest hand poses to draw are resting poses, in my opinion... in a lot of these cases, it's very helpful to look at what (your own) hands are doing...! (if hands are available to you)

there are definitely ways to break them down, you're already amazing at drawing everything!! to be honest, i know i draw hands inaccurately in most cases and i don't think about them too hard... if i had to describe the way i draw them quick, it would be like this.. not anatomically accurate

It was an curious and interesting job! I don't consider myself a “professional artist”, so whenever I'm invited to do something like this, I feel confused but happy! 😵

What made it easier was setting up the environment within the game itself to use as a reference!

I also made everything modular, in case I need to move something or reuse these objects in other promotional artwork.
