Same here... ๐
Very milky here. At least the sleet has stopped...
I tried to pull out some of the "soot and sand" dark nebulosity around the Iris. In awe of what this little gadget (Dwarf 3) can achieve. The bright patch on the right is the Ghost (Sh2-136).
AstroMedia Stirling Engine kit (yes, I did press the flywheel flat while the PVA was setting ๐). Up to 160 rpm, ran for 71 mins.
Carnot rocks!
Orion Nebula
Recently acquired a DwarfLab3. Grabbed this in a break in the clouds last evening. 8x30s, dual band filter, as it comes out of the Dwarf (might see if I can improve it with Siril).
Rather good piece by Brian Dunning on these so-called "drones".

Back in September I did an "In praise of Dark Night Skies" show, at Winchester Science Centre planetarium, for the Big Chalk national conference. Photos were taken...
Great to be supporting #SustainableWarminster this afternoon by promoting responsible lighting.
