No idea where the Classes J & K cups won by the Greenwood Trojans and the Douglas Eagles are, but the Sumner Trojans' Class L cup has just re-surfaced! It was saved by an S-E-M senior in 1973 when he was helping clean a school crawl space and already in serious disrepair.

The 1926 Class H crown went home to Thayer County with the boys from Hebron Academy. Where'd it go from there? We don't know.
But, we know where the Class I Cup won by the boys from Bassett with their 26-23 win over Alma. It's in the Rock County Museum.

Highest achievements in boys basketball by school in the state's biggest classification (including the one-class tournaments, Class A until 1954 & 1960-present, and Class AA in 1955-1959). See anything that looks like it needs a second look?
Some schools have reached higher tiers in other classes.

More story: Sumner's 1926 Cup was in bad shape, dented, and shut away in a crawlspace storage area at the school in 1973, when it was saved from a likely dust-binning by an SEM senior. It went to college and grad school with him! Then, was stored in his mom's house when he left the state to teach.
