An AI-recommended setting in the Settings menu for "Change display resolution to 2560 x 1440". I use an ultrawide monitor that never needs to use this resolution.
That moment when Microsoft's AI suggestions are so dumb they actually wrap around to being useful again
I have an ultrawide (3440x1440) monitor that no reasonable person would ever run in 2560x1440... but since I want 16:9 screenshots for Minecraft packs, I use this setting occasionally.
I feel like holding the popcorn was not a priority for this popcorn bucket
Oh my goodness
Much, much better than the old head. It looked ridiculous before! This is a definite improvement, much more in line with other babies.
Baby villagers should have the same fix too.
These proportions are a lot better than the old ones!
It's directly relevant to the disconnect between her vision for the brand she was heading that she was faking a personality because it appeared better for marketability. I think she wanted to get the same the built-in faith Phil got without the authenticity.
This is super cool!
I NEED a Baba crossover yesterday
Give me Baba, Keke, and Me (or any other character, sorry Me)
I agree with basically all of this, especially the 6x6 heads for baby humanoids.
Thank you for the emphasis on keeping MacOS compatibility with Java Edition!
Another step towards vibrant visuals https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/article/another-step-towards-vibrant-visuals-for-java-edition
I tried this back when Mojang added the new fog to Java, but sadly there's no way to accurately recreate the Java fog on Bedrock.
Again, this is said every time. Surely the copper golem AI will be adjusted. Surely the Happy Ghast speed will be increased. Surely the Pale Garden will be given fog. I see no reason to believe we'll see anything beyond fixes for actual bugs.
Every single update/drop people say this and it's never true. If they were planning to iterate on the features they would have done so week to week.
These criticisms I'm sharing aren't unique to me. They've been everywhere since the new baby designs first dropped.
This is one of the biggest issues with the drop cycle combined with 3-week Bedrock certification: almost no time for feedback. We have at most two weeks before designs are locked.
but seriously, have they addressed even a single criticism of the new mob designs? Not even one?
The baby sheep looks awful. The baby horses have ridiculously oversized heads. Baby cat heads are bigger than adults. There seems to be no consistency with 1 vs. 2-pixel eyes.
What are they doing?
A man wearing absolutely gigantic earmuffs
Mojang listening to community feedback this drop
The new black dot texture for adult horses. The left side shows the previous version, while the right side shows the new version.
This is a veeeeery dramatic change that I really don't like. The old black dots looked like natural fur; the new ones look like my horse has caught the Black Death
The shell-shocked soldier meme with the face of the soldier replaced by the new Baby Hoglin

As a response to "Why do you play Minecraft?" First answer: To have others see or tell me how good I am (Agent picked 4 out of 5) Second answer: To be liked by people I know (Again, Agent picked 4)
This Minecraft drop survey is really turning into a therapy session
PS5 only demo is lame, but I'm hoping that means they got a good sponsorship from Sony.
Yes!!!!! I trust Yacht Club after every Shovel Knight campaign got better and better
This is an awesome upgrade, love both of these games
Agreed, I don't think each variants needs a top level folder
I certainly have my work cut out for me for the next Aspects update, on both the Java and Console fronts ๐
I find the writing style to be fun, but I really wish they hired a proper copy editor. There are tons of novice mistakes that any writing student would have caught.
The simple solution to this is to watch Extended Fellowship, Theatrical Two Towers, and Extended Return of the King
I find that basically every extended scene in RotK is worthwhile, while basically every extended scene in Two Towers is unnecessary.
Don't worry everyone, Netflix's model is built on being a premium, paid subscription service. They would never introduce ads that would give them extra money for almost no downsides
A screenshot from Minecraft Preview 26.10.21 changelog: Experimental Technical Updates API This release introduces new UI capabilities called Data-Driven UI (DDUI) These APIs introduce a new way to create modal forms with new capabilities and an all new look New modal forms is the first step in our UI journey for creators, stay tuned for more features in future updates! More information can be found here: Introduction to the Data-Driven UI (DDUI) Framework Known Issues: You need to wait a tick between programmatically closing a CustomForm/MessageBox and opening another. Showing a CustomForm/MessageBox while UI is already up "queues" the UI to show up instead of failing like the previous form APIs. CustomForms will only update after being shown via Observables, you cannot add a new button/dropdown/slider/etc while the form is shown. Reload command now closes all the Data Driven UI screens as part of the execution ScriptSetBannerDetailsFunction now includes base color and pattern data Fixed an issue with DebugBox where the position was being used as the bottom-left corner, instead of the centre Fixed an issue with DebugShape.attachedTo where the attachment position was unintentionally using the height offset of the entity
Before anyone gets too excited, this feature is NOT describing customizable Ore UI. This is an update to the Script API UI features, which are used in a lot of Marketplace Add-Ons.
