I'm home but I am no longer home. I don't recognize my city and I don't recognize my state (Minnesota). I feel like everything is crumbling around me and there's nothing i can do to stop it and our goverment leaders are either kicking us or letting it happen.
There has not been a day that has gone by this year where I haven't felt a deep sense of grief and despair. I know love and hope are the cures, but I feel like we have been abandoned by state leaders and the rest of the country #MN #Minnesota #Minneapolis
Day 65 of Occupation:
No one told me it would make my C-PTSD symptoms worse. I had a panic attack getting groceries bc the store is right next to a hotel where ICE had been staying & a black SUV was driving close behind me. I had to regulate myself before going to my usual grocery spot #Minnesota
That is awesome! A white supremacist showed up here and immediately got his ass arrested so it was a better than normal day for me too. Still had a neighbor abducted for legally observing ICE, though. 😔
