I had no meetings today so I headed to a coffee shop for a few hours.
I love that I get to choose my working environment - whether it is my desk or couch at home or sipping delicious coffee in a coffee shop.

Gratitude Day 27/100: it became apparent today that I didn't get into something I applied for earlier this year. I am grateful for the opportunity to apply. And then grateful for the opportunity to post these flowers to brighten up my day.

Today I received a submission acceptance for a poem in an anthology, it wasn't the one I thought they would accept, however, if I was a dog I would look like this cute little puppy running in the grass.
Getting a poem accepted for publication never get old.

Gratitude Day 26/100: for modern medicine & the humble ginger root. I woke up yesterday with a raging sore throat & painful earache. Today I am functioning again. I always have ginger in my kitchen but sometimes it needs to be helped by a visit to the doctor.
