Facing Eviction: A Tenant's Battle Against Damp and Disrepair Facing homelessness and health risks, one tenant exposes systemic failures in housing safety and tenant rights. Discover her urgent story.

Rachel is speaking out because she has evidence to show how revenge evictions by housing associations happen, step by step, and because many tenants do not survive the process long enough to document it.

Agenda for Council on Wednesday 4 March 2026, 7.00 pm | Lambeth Council

Britain desperately needs proportional representation. No more commissions on it, no more referendums, just pick one of the systems already in use for assembly elections and use it for the the next Westminster vote.

Greens overtake Labour in sensational poll The Greens have polled higher than Labour in the latest poll by YouGov, which puts them only two points off Reform UK and five ahead of the governing party.

"Of those who voted Labour [in 2024], just 37% would vote Labour again".
Read that again to absorb the full, astonishing weight of what it means.
Starmer, Reeves and co have burnt their house down.

People riding e-scooters in a blue painted bike lane next to a couple of red buses.

TfL has published data today showing that since the launch of the e-scooter trial, "five million trips have been taken, totalling more than 10 million km - enough to travel around the world 250 times"

This is the mobility shift needed in cities to cut congestion and move people around.

A great win for the Greens in #GortonandDenton last night. It really showed people power in action-all from volunteers. We need that in #Lambeth #London #UK. Greens hear the real change demanded by communities.

After a day at Clerkenwell Court supporting a single mum of two children who's being evicted by Lambeth Council using a s21 no fault eviction. I get a knock on my door from labour canvassers with a leaflet saying how 11m renters have been protected. Looking forward to an explanation from Mr Reed.😡

Labour needs to accept it must drop out or else it hands Wales to Reform.

This is only everything they've told other parties to do for years, so I'm sure they'll understand it's the right thing to do.

Ministers should be listening to scientists, frontline communities and those working towards a green transition – not hosting the interests of oil giants in their own offices.
