Soo this guy I am casting out of latex for the mask. The hair will probably be silicone skinned then filled with foam.

The neck piece I plan for him will be silicone with powermesh.

Got a spot for Anthrocon!! Woo, can’t wait to be a cyber punk cheetah there!! And maybe an Orc 👀

Kept thinking I could punch up the details more but the mental image I have for this mask is very opaque and BRIGHT. So a lot the details would be lost. Heck he’s even going to have LEDs. Needless say I am so so so excited to cast and paint him ; ; ( then of course wear)

Think I am finally done with his hair. Gonna sleep on it. Now I just need to finish the fur texture and he’s all done. Hoping to mold him this weekend 🤞🏻

The clay is waxed base and incredibly strong and firm. It’s so firm you can sand it.

This has also made me crave soft serve ice cream 😂

Lol yes! I printed almost non stop when I first got it. I just reached a point I didn’t need it but I knew before long something would come along haha! I use it mainly to organize

Felt nice to turn on my 3D printer this morning. Been about a month since I last used it. Today it’s printing me little lock boxes. I wish I could print lock boxes for everything cause I totally would lol

Need to figure out what I am gonna do for Velocity’s bodysuit ( for the rubber hood version) I keep thinking a spandex suit. But I also keep pondering a mochi minky suit ( like Rakule’s shown here) if I did minky I’d subdye the spots to save me time and grief. Spandex I’d order an all over print one

Yea I don’t wanna play 25-30% off tag. Even then, it’s still a mark up I believe. I’d rather just buy from the source and have it shipped to me. I was excited to see them sell this in Michaels as it allows a wider audience to use it but…$45 for 456g is crazy work

Came here looking for the tool kit and when I saw the price I opted to pass. It’s convenient to get it vs having to order but rather just try and make my own.

Crazy to see monster makers clay in Michaels, even crazier the price. I know it’s all about coupons but goodness. 4.5lb block online is $35…

Not too bad! It has some heft but it’s only a silicone skin filled with foam. When I am home I’ll weigh it. I made it as a proof of concept as I hope to make a much better one

Keep trying to post video but it won’t let me sadly. When I get home I’ll try and get better pics of it! As these were right after I made it.
