Was glad to join so many folks for the opening night of Maryland Hall’s “Act 3” Capital Campaign!

What a wonderful St Patrick’s Day parade in #annapolis! And of course I needed to start it with some green ice cream!
Thank you! Looking forward to working towards a more sustainable urban environment for housing, transit, and businesses. Along with our actual environment because everything is land use!
Folks, I’m excited to share I filed to reelection for Ward 5 Alderman this morning! We’ve Had some great successes, rental assistance, expanding childcare opportunities, & economic development innovation. But there’s more work to do. Let’s get it done! #MDPolitics
I am honored to have recieved the endorsements of Councilwoman Lisa Rodvien and the Annapolis Professional Firefighters Local 1926 for Delegate! Thank you both, your faith means the world! If you want to join them in supporting me you can do so here! #MdPolitics www.annearundeldems.com/general-4
I grew up in Maine so I had smoked meat access before proper pastrami. Love that it’s richer & the seasoning hits better to me!
One of the greats!
Thank you to the Almost 7:30 Friday Morning Democratic Breakfast Club for inviting me to speak this morning! I enjoyed sharing how Maryland can tackle our housing crisis, bring down child care costs, and create jobs so we can make this Maryland’s decade! #mdpolitcs
We heard COUNTLESS bullshit coverage that Biden was ignoring North Carolina when the administration was doing everything in it's power to help. Trump openly does it, crickets.

On Martin Luther King Day it’s important to not just remember the man, his message, and his work; but to carry on that legacy and remove inequalities, to remove barriers, to remove injustice and build a better world where more people can thrive.
Happy Martin Luther King Day everyone
It’s an interesting way to phrase it but we cannot afford to be timid
Thank you!
I am so proud of my husband for serving Annapolis and now potentially serving our state as a Delegate. His deep empathy and sense of justice are what drew me to him years ago and what I continue to admire about him. Brooks is someone who runs for office for the right reason: to help others.
Happy to share this announcement and my enthusiastic support of @aldermanbrooks.bsky.social to fill the vacant house seat in Maryland's District 30A.
Brooks represents the next generation of thoughtful and effective leadership who has a genuine desire to make #Maryland a better place for all. #D30
Maryland faces many challenges ahead; rapidly rising housing costs, small businesses in need of help, and shrinking opportunity for middle class families. As a Delegate I will fight to reverse those trends and to create Opportunity for All. #MDpolitics
Folks, I am excited to announce that yesterday I submitted my paperwork to fill the vacant position for House of Delegates in District 30A. #MDPolitics
I REALLY don’t think enough people see the housing crisis as a big reason why we got shelled in 24. A state losing population due to housing costs should be a 5 alarm fire not a timid proposal slide whistle
We had a very ambitious bill last year that was watered down a bit but was still a good start. There will likely be more attempts this year and at least a statewide ADU bill
Unfortunately MONTANA had one of the best statewide interventions out there (which as a Dem ashames me!)
All zoning authority is given by the state, the state can mandate specific changes. Some states like California (ADUs & Builders Remedy) Montana (missing middle) & Oregon (quadplexes) have done so already!
Unfortunately I know a lot of NIMBY left. That one doesn’t fall neatly on the left right spectrum
*sighs in need for state intervention*
Hungry? Come get a pre snow day meal at the Smash Up Burgers Truck in Clocktower Place!
I have declared a State of Preparedness in advance of the elevated winter storm threat from Sunday, January 5 through Monday, January 6.
Maryland, avoid travel if possible, follow local forecasts, and stay prepared for winter storm hazards.
Few things are as pretty as Annapolis in the snow! But be sure to drive a little slower tonight and bundle up! Travel times are not at this moment significantly impacted but road conditions are wet and a little slippery.
His dedication to others through military service, public office, and personal deeds always shown through in President Carter’s actions. We with his family peace and comfort.
President Carter attended the Naval Academy at the same time as my own grandfather, graduating with the class of ‘46, where he went on to make the institution, our city, and national proud.
We are wishing the Carter family peace today after the passing of President Jimmy Carter yesterday.
