NEW: Before the Iran War, Trump ignored warnings that Iran could retaliate across the region and stop oil shipments. Now, with energy markets in chaos, some aides are pessimistic about the lack of a strategy to end the war. But they haven't told Trump. Gift link: www.nytimes.com/2026/03/10/u...
"By the end of its sixth day, the war’s cost exceeded $11 billion, including more than $5 billion worth of interceptors. To replenish its arsenal, the Pentagon is expected to ask Congress for an additional $50 billion. Meanwhile, Mr. Trump wants to add ...
... $600 billion to the Pentagon’s annual budget, for a whopping $1.5 trillion in the next fiscal year.
"It’s an astronomical tally for a president who returned to office pledging to end wars, not start them."

When will these guys admit they fell for a con to own the libs? Good job, Joe.
Yeah, but when it does happen, we pardon it.
I love the idea that *this* US government, which has been nabbing landscapers and five year olds knows where Iranian sleeper cells are but just hasn’t gotten around to doing anything about it yet.
Showing this to myself in 2022 and having an aneurysm
Q: What’s the difference between a politician and a sex worker?

Mission Accomplished!
The US is a lawless gangster nation run by criminal idiots of world historic proportions -
Trump’s pronouncement Steve witcoff - a real estate grifter lackey and his moronic son in law - told him Iran was going to attack him
Is the dumbest reason
In earth history for starting a world war
"WAR ITSELF IS A FORM OF MADNESS. IT'S HARDLY A CIVILIZED PURSUIT. IT'S AMAZING HOW WE SPEND SO MUCH TIME INVENTING DEVICES TO KILL EACH OTHER AND SO LITTLE TIME WORKING ON HOW TO ACHIEVE PEACE." - WALTER CRONKITE
Just a coincidence.
Barbecue might be the most American food there is.
But the story of how it became that way—and the people who built those traditions—is more complicated than most of us realize.

As a country we have made a lot of mistakes in foreign wars over the last 2+ centuries. But I’m not sure we have ever looked as feckless, foolish, incompetent and ridiculous at the leadership level than right now.
It’s not hard to imagine a world in which the 2028 election hinges instead on the future of American AI regulation. It’s hard to overstate, too, just how wide open the political terrain is.
Markwayne Mullin on the attempted deportation of Liam Ramos, a 5-year-old child of an undocumented immigrant in Minneapolis:
"This story that they’re blowing up about this 5-year-old kid is so false, is so untrue that honestly, there probably should be some lawsuits filed against this."
"If they actually required you to have a judicial warrant on every individual you picked up that was here illegally, the entire country would become a sanctuary city" - Kristi Noem or Markwayne Mullin
Everyone who thinks seriously about war understood *exactly* what this would look like. It's just that the people who started the war didn't think seriously.
"It looks like Trump is getting ready to TACO on Iran. But it’s not as easy to get the fierce dogs of war back in the kennel as it is the docile puppies of tariffs."
ICE is still acting like ICE. Abolish ICE.
Iran being able to disrupt the world economy by closing a small channel feels like the Death Star having an exhaust port you can shoot that makes the whole thing explode
The same company behind Alligator Alcatraz was just paid $313 million to build another one in Surprise, Arizona.
I’m fighting to get the answers the community deserves.
The big economic conclusions of the Israel-US war on Iran are:
1. All forms of decentralized that is renewable energy are preferable to all fossil fuels.
2. Drones, electronic warfare & cyber are advancing on heavy expensive arms
3. Trump has rendered the US backward.
DOGE said it was cutting government waste.
So they gutted USAID — the agency that feeds starving people around the world.
Meanwhile the Pentagon spent millions on lobster, ribeye, and even a $98,000 piano.

This is a big fat lie. And this guy was in charge of our negotiations with Iran that involved all sorts of technical details? It’s truly amateur hour.
Deposition of Epstein’s accountant Richard Kahn. Names 5 rich powerful men who paid for Epstein’s enterprise. This is beyond disturbing that these men would finance abusing girls and get away with it. Their moral depravity is outrageous.
