Flanking a central French clock and delicate porcelain figurines like Meissen sentinels, these multi-branch bronze fixtures amplify the room's Baroque extravagance, with mirrored reflections multiplying the glow. Their elegant bobeches catch dripping wax, evoking 18th-century royal evenings lit purely by such splendor. A massive overmantel mirror framed in matching gold rises behind, reflecting the pale green damask walls and adjacent large painting of a twisting nude female figure in dynamic Baroque pose. Parquet floors, a carved fauteuil chair, and subtle pink fireback add intimacy to Frederick the Great's private quarters, where every gilt detail impresses. The setup radiates Prussian luxury, with candlelight from the mantelpieces uniting the space in harmonious warmth.
