I try to be open about my OCD in the hopes that it might be helpful to some of those who struggle with it, but I understand that people get sick of hearing about it. That being said, trust me when I say that no one is as sick of hearing about OCD as those of us who have OCD. It is relentless.
Check out Amy's latest for ILM!
Out now: Star Wars Insider's penultimate issue with my story on @darkhorse.com Tales from the Nightlands. Cozy up with a Star Wars mystery, as feisty retiree Urbra Procura investigates βA Death in Elderblock 26-0640β. My original short fiction can only be found in the pages of Star Wars Insider #236, out today!
I think you mean "Ahch-To-morrow"

Sad to report that visual effects artist Chris Stoski has passed away. Chris was the ILM digital matte supervisor for "Star Trek" (2009), and was responsible for this amazing painting of the Enterprise under construction.
My secondary hobby is trying to remember what I was about to do.
π
My new hobby is forgetting what I was about to do.
It's wonderful.
The first stage of middle age is going beautifully.
My Valentine's Day gift to myself is to watch Star Trek all day.
I'm so thoughtful ππ»π

That's awesome! I think @larrynemecek.bsky.social knows a thing or two about that specific episode as well π Were you on set for it too, Larry?
I heard that Michael J. Fox makes a "cameo" in all three Back to the Future movies. Will check and report back! π
I'd love to visit an active Star Trek set one day.
Of course, I'd have to walk around with my eyes and ears covered to avoid spoilers, but it's the effort that counts ππ
I'm a very influential guy. This time my cat hesitated for a half second before ultimately deciding to do what he wanted to do anyway.
I really enjoyed speaking with ILM visual effects supervisor Nick Marshall about ILM's work on SINNERS. My latest article: www.ilm.com/sinners-ilm-...
1/ ProPublica collected handwritten letters in mid-January from children held at the Dilley Immigration Processing Center, the same facility where 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos was taken.
Hundreds of kids are still detained.
Weβll let the childrenβs words speak for themselves. π§΅

If I remember correctly, Clarissa had writing and graphics appear on the screen pretty often on that show. It was on Nickelodeon when I was a kid, so I vaguely remember it π I'm guessing the person is referencing the graphics that pop up in the latest Academy episode (which I loved!)
Star Trek fans - just stay off the internet until you watch todayβs #StarfleetAcademy. Trust me.
The title "Cause and Effect" Written above the USS Enterprise in Star Trek The Next Generation.
The perfect Star Trek episode to watch on Groundhog Day.
I know what I'm doing in the sense that I know I don't know what I'm doing. You know?
The Art of Star Wars: The Acolyte, the third of @kristinbaver.bsky.socialβs High Republic-era art books, is nothing short of extraordinary, overflowing with incredible concepts and stories from the seriesβ production. Pick up your copy this Tuesday, February 3, everywhere fine books are sold!
*An example of an implied starship is when the Enterprise picks up a passenger who is waiting at a starbase. The implied ship had to bring them to the starbase at some point. It's a delicate balance, but I've figured this out for every episode and film π
Starfleet Academy's first 4 episodes have made some wonderful contributions to my ongoing list of every starship that has ever been seen, mentioned, or whose existence has been implied in Star Trek. π€ππ»
...as is cake π
Star Trek is eternal ππ»
Congratulations!
