Made it through the weekend without a crisis only to have some bitch karen object to Ian's existence this morning - while walking her own precious pooch.
I'm a month behind in listening but I couldn't resist recaptioning this sub-arc based solely on the artwork:

I don't know what this is (beyond an rpg) but I love the idea of Hope Tokens in general. Sure beats my Stupid Chip (poker chip to cash in one truly stupid idea)
I hear what you guys are saying about the Oscars, and how they're a celebration of life, and the show must go on, blah-blah-blah, so-on-and-so-forth. It all makes a degree of sense, but to me it still feels like Nero fiddling while Rome burns. Or in this case, wearing fancy clothes while LA burns.
While randomly browsing Amazon I found a second-hand title from my "that might be nice to own some day" list was actually being sold by ThriftBooks. You bet I headed over to the other site and nabbed it from them directly.
4:30 AM Ian wakes me up barking. There are flashing lights peeping through a crack in the curtains. A house one street over (not directly across the street) is in flames. You could see them over other buildings. Now a smokey morning still filled with emergency vehicles. I hope everyone got out.
