Honestly, even if LRG doesn’t dramatically improve, I’m just happy to see the old guy forced out. Even beyond his company sucking ass, *he* apparently sucked ass to work for
It is not often I am proud of the Sonic fanbase in the modern day, but effectively forcing out LRG’s sack of shit CEO through sheer fury is a beautiful moment in this fandom’s history

Yeah, but to be honest I’m wondering if it’s even proper flux - it’s more like a Vaseline-esque paste than the liquid-y looking stuff I see in videos. I was having a lot of issues dissolving solder to remove stuff too, but I just wasn’t lifting up the components enough - my solder sucker sucks tho
Yeah, I’d definitely say so. I just follow some guides roughly and so far I’ve been able to fix the batteries in my GC and two GB games without any issues. I do have a tiny bit of previous soldering experience, but that was high school 15 years ago
So far I’m having trouble getting my solder to look clean and blobby, it does come out looking a bit rough… might just be using a shit iron/solder, but at least it works

I almost gave CD the nod over Mania! I've definitely played CD a lot in recent years, and it's very much my comfort game - but Mania is just so ridiculously good and a very special game

For Ridge Racer, I was stuck between R4, RR6 and RR2 PSP. I gave the nod to 2PSP since it's essentially a 'best of' - I'm one of the few Ridge Racer fans who loves the nitrous stuff in the later games
